Archives Month Planning Committee of Washington State

Every October is American Archives Month, an opportunity to celebrate and promote archives in all forms and formats. Special events are designed to demonstrate the importance of archives and historic collections. Events can include behind-the-scenes tours, open houses, workshops, film screenings, and panel discussions.

In returning back to Washington State after 15 years, I’m excited to contribute to a statewide Planning Committee that includes a terrific team. In 2019, we promoted over 20 events and programs, and organized several events, including the Archives Fair at Seattle City Hall as well as a program focused on architectural and design archives at Mithun Architects.

A.R.T. REBRANDING PROJECT

Recognizing the need to increase A.R.T.'s visibility, I oversaw and completed an organizational rebranding project that included updated logos and marketing collateral. The project included branding exercises, member surveys, design workshops, and communications with members.
